Registering with the Government of Sierra Leone's Ministry of Social Welfare, meant empowering more nationals to be taking the responsibility of running the programme in Sierra Leone. The work of Enable the Children would never have been so effective without the support of many local friends and advisers. Some of those people have now formally come together as the Exec Board.

The mother of one of our patients

Georgiana Turay - Board Member
A Pastor's wife and mother of three

Erin Harrell - Board Member
A US trained Physical Therapist and ongoing advisor for Enable the Children

So as you can see, many hands have been needed to make ~Enable the Children~ work as it does. At any one time approximately 80 children and their families are actively being worked with.

The harvest is plenty, the workers have been faithful, but there is always much more that can be done.
